Pelletized, or Blocked Dry Ice, and what's the difference?

I prefer 5lb bagged blocks ('bagged' or 'sleeved' 10x5x2 slabs) but you'll want to use whatever you can get in cheapest per lb. Pellets sublimates quicker than blocks, so you'll need to use more lbs of pellets vs Blocked ice. However pelletize is typically sold cheaper rate / lb than Blocked.

Still not finding finding an option for you?

Consider these tips below when searching for a Dry Ice seller;

    1. Identify the source in the supply line. (This tip can be applicable for any item you're looking for.) I'm no dry ice wizard, but I'd guess most suppliers do not have the means of regenerating liquid CO2 that dry ice is made of. They're likely sourcing it from companies selling it to them in bulk. Consider contacting these companies asking if they sell to a dry ice converter i.e. producer, manufacturer, supplier near you. End result to highlight is that you're helping them move more of their liquid CO2, everybody wins! Another good place to look is the companies selling the dry ice manufacturing machines like C02 Air, or ICEsonic.
    2. Never underestimate people's resourcefulness. When upon learning a 'potential dry ice lead' is unable to provide a solution for you, enquire for any other leads on the item you're looking for, and continue asking around till you find it.
